"Our family of four visited for a llama walk at the end of September 2020 and were so pleased with the entire experience from booking through follow-up. The hosts were so congenial and knowledgeable. They were ready for us when we arrived. We received our safety and general briefing and then we were off on our lovely walk around their fields and into the woods on their property. They answered our many questions and the animals seem very healthy, well-loved, and well cared for. You can tell their well-being and safety is paramount to Paige and Steven. I will second Paige's recommendation for rain or waterproof boots that you wouldn't mind getting muddy (and a change of shoes for your car trip after the walk). There are also several HipCamp camping sites on the property and this would be a beautiful place to camp, see the stars, and get to meet the llamas, alpacas, and horses, plus there are bathroom facilities, should campers want that. The roads are paved right to the entrance of the farm and then you travel a well-maintained gravel road up to the barn. I highly recommend meeting the hosts and talking the llamas for an educational, relaxing, and pleasant walk around Lower Sherwood Farm."
