"What a wonderful little Farm Stand. Haskins Family Farm Stand doesn’t look like much from the road, but it’s stocked with amazing goodies by the owners. A little out of the way on Buffalo Marsh Road west of Middletown, VA but well worth the detour if you have the time. Mary seems to be the owner in charge of magic here. She bakes the wonderful bakery products (breads, muffins, scones, etc.), keeps the stand stocked with the Farm’s latest produce and meats as they are available, makes the jellies, jams, chutneys, and sauces. Shes even the creative vision behind all the crafts for sale in the Stand, from beautiful handmade and hand painted cards to small holiday gifts. So much to take in-in one tiny little Farm Stand. The Stand runs on the honor system so I suggest you bring your $1, $5, and $10 bills, just add your items to the list on the clipboard. There is always something new to see when I visit. This week Mary was putting out some beautiful rhubarb and by the time I got there most of the scrumptious baked goods had already been snapped up. Trust me on this, Haskins Family Farm Stand is a hidden treasure!"
