"We knew this place when it was owned by W&L, and yesterday was the first time we've visited since then. It was probably the best day of the year to visit a winery... perfect weather and crystal clear skies. As others have said, the views were stunning. We parked in the upper parking area and had no problems walking down to the winery but getting back up was a bit rough for older folks. Next time we'll park at the middle parking area. Seems they're not allowed to have a sign on the parkway, so it's easy to miss. They currently have a. American flag to mark the entrance. We'll certainly be back, but with our own lunch. Food options were very limited"
